Mini Curried Pasties

what you need

2 onions, chopped
2 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
250g minced lamb
1 tomato, chopped
1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
1 medium potato, diced and cooked
3 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
55g egg, lightly beaten

make it

HEAT a little oil in a frying pan, add onion, curry and chilli powder and cook until onion has softened. Add meat, stirring until cooked.

ADD tomato and Vegemite*, cook for 5 minutes, then add potato.

CUT each sheet of pastry into four circles or squares. Place a heaped tablespoon of the meat mixture onto pastry circles. Brush edges of pastry with water and fold over. Press edges together with a fork to seal.

BRUSH pasties with egg and bake in 210°C oven for 25 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden.
