Garlic Beef and Vegetables

what you need

500g rump steak, sliced finely
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 cup sugar snap peas
6 spring onions, cut into 3cm lengths
Combine
2 teaspoons plum sauce
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon sherry
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
1/2 bunch silverbeet, roughly chopped

make it

HEAT a frying pan or wok, add a little oil, and cook steak and garlic in small amounts until meat is just browned.

ADD sugar peas, spring onions and combined ingredients (Vegemite*, sugar, sherry, water and plum sauce). Stir fry for 4 - 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add silverbeet, tossing gently until just cooked.

SERVE immediately with rice or noodles.
