Kraft Foods Limited is conducting a voluntary food safety consumer level recall of:

Kraft Braised Steak and Onions – 95g, 185g, 340g, 410g
Kraft Braised Steak and Mushroom – 410g
Kraft Braised Steak and Vegetables – 410g

Best before dates: 6/8/2010 to 10/7/2011 inclusive

The voluntary safety recall is being made because a small number of cans have been found to contain hard blue plastic originating from the manufacturing process.

This applies only to the product and best before date highlighted in bold.

Consumers who have purchased the above product are requested to either dispose of the product or return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Kraft is working closely with State and Federal Health Authorities and our trade partners in the coordination of this recall. Press advertisements will be placed nationwide advising consumers of this recall.

Kraft takes its responsibilities to consumers seriously and has undertaken this voluntary product recall accordingly. Every precaution is taken to ensure the safety of our products.
