Kraft Peanut Butter 1931 - Kraft Macaroni Cheese and peanut butter launched.

1933 - Kraft Miracle Whip launched.

1934 - Kraft begins to manufacture cheddar cheese. In the early days of the company, Australian cheese factories were very limited in their production. The growing requirements by Kraft for adequate quantities of good quality bulk cheddar were greater than could be provided by these factories.

Kraft Cheese MemorabiliaIt was in 1934 that Kraft was invited by one of the oldest co-operatives in Victoria - the Warrnambool Cheese and Butter factory - to lease its cheese factory at Allansford, a small town near Warrnambool, Victoria. In 1935, Kraft became a cheese manufacturer in its own right. The Allansford factory was developed into the best equipped and most technologically advanced in Australia, with the biggest output of cheese in the Southern Hemisphere.

1935 - Company founder Fred Walker dies of heart failure at the age of 50.

World War 2 World War II - Kraft Gift Boxes for soldiers and sailors. During WWII, concerned relatives and friends could send a 5lb (2kg) wooden 'Kraft Gift Box for Soldiers and Sailors' to those serving in the armed forces. This contained an assortment of Kraft canned meat products as well as a selection of processed cheese, such as Cheddar and Old English.
