Leg Abduction (Machine) - Male

Instructions

  • Sit on the machine with your legs together and adjust the leg pad so that the pad touches your outer knee. 
  • In a controlled motion, spread your legs apart. 
  • Hold for one second and then with resistance, return to starting position without setting down the weight or relaxing the muscle. Stay in control of the motion at all times. Repeat 
  • Breathe with the motion - breathing out as you spread your legs, in as you return to the starting motion.

    Tip

    Focus on returning to the start position at a slower rate of motion, and make sure you maintain control of the weight at all times.
