Dumbbell Bent Row - Male

Instructions

  • Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart bending at your waist. Keep your knees slightly bent and your back flat.
  • Grasping the dumbbells in both hands with your palms facing your knees, pull the dumbbells upward toward your abdomen.
  • Pause briefly and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  • Slowly return the dumbbells to the starting position and then repeat.
  • Exhale while bringing the weight up and inhale while pushing the weight down.

Tip

Keep your back straight at all times by keeping your lower back muscles tight. Be careful if you experience lower back problems - consider starting with a lower weight.
